As the world grows more challenging and uncertain with every day, children with cleft lip and palate are at ever greater risk of being forgotten. Challenged to eat, breathe and speak, they need the help and solidarity of a global village to find opportunity and hope. With your understanding and support, 14,500 children worldwide who suffer from cleft lip and palate are already sharing new smiles with their families and communities. Yet a baby with a cleft is born somewhere in the world every two minutes. That’s 648 every day, and 236,400 every year. Rotaplast is facing these challenges head on, sending medical teams to 5 new sites in Africa and India next year in addition to needed follow-up missions to Latin America and Asia. With your help, our volunteers can have a real-time, grassroots impact in countries where the life-changing treatment of cleft lip and palate is too expensive or simply not available. By donating online before November 6th, you can help Rotaplast save the cost paper and postage, and fund a mission instead.
